Clean Curved Backyard Borders with Cor-Ten Edging

October 14, 2024Shared by Samuel

Samuel reshaped a Colorado backyard using 6 inch 16 gauge Cor-Ten hammer-in edging, pairing straight and 45 degree strips with straight, T, and 90 degree connectors for flowing beds. In hard clay soil, the saw tooth edge and sturdy gauge drove in well, and pin stakes kept curves aligned during a yard scrape and new sod prep. He loves the rolled safety edge and clean look, and reminds installers to locate drip and sprinkler lines first.

We have nothing but great things to say about our Edge Right experience and the product! To start, we did a lot of research on different types of edging, Corten, and other factors that would make our edging project a wonderful experience. We chose Edge Right over other cheaper products we found on Amazon and online for several reasons including the rolled edge, saw cut teeth, and overall reviews we’d read. Our install is in hard clay soil in Colorado, so the saw teeth edge was extremely helpful, along with the gauge of the product to help hammer the product deep enough. We used pin stakes during our install to help with stabilization as we were also do a yard scrape with soil amendment and new sod install. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the outcome and our neighbors have been ogling at the outcome, we would recommend this product to anyone! NOTE: be mindful of where your drip and sprinkler lines are located when doing your install…
