Many existing edging systems on the market simply sit on top of the grass. Edge Right goes deep into the soil, helping to deter grass and weed roots.
Edge Right Drainage Strips are the perfect solution for areas where water management meets landscape edging. Unlike standard edging, these strips feature precision-engineered 1" × ⅛" drainage slots that prevent water pooling while maintaining an effective barrier against grass, roots, and mulch. The drainage design allows essential water flow through your borders, reducing erosion on slopes and preventing standing water in garden beds.
Installation: For best results, run along your installation line with an edger to provide a guide when inserting. Position the drainage slots where water flow is needed most. Insert the border and pound in with a hammer, using a wood block to protect the metal surface. The drainage slots should remain above soil level to function properly. Install depth varies by height option - 4" strips sit at surface level while taller options can be driven 2-5 inches deep. Use caution where you install Edge Right, as above-ground edging can be a tripping hazard.
About COR-TEN Steel: This product uses 100% A606-T4 weather steel, also known as COR-TEN. Cor-Ten is known for its high tensile strength and unique weathering ability. Cor-Ten forms a protective rust coating that regenerates when continuously subject to the weather. The drainage slots are precision-cut to maintain structural integrity while allowing optimal water flow.
