To install the EdgeRight Tree Ring Kit, use the serrated teeth of the ring to hammer it firmly into the ground. You’ll then fill the interior of the ring with mulch or gravel—any product that still lets water penetrate through to the ground.

Very cool rings, high quality. I was a little shocked none of the connecting stakes were lost in the mail because the 24 boxes were beat up on arrival, definitely a challenge to set if you have hard, rocky clay for soil. We used them for steps down a hill and love the results!
