We purchased almost 200ft of edging and also the planters. We chose the Corten color for the planters to match the edging. The planters haven’t patina’d yet but look amazing out of the box. The edging looks and works great. I’m in a location with extremely hard clay and rocky soil and it took some muscle to install the edging but it was able to get installed with some effort and hammering. I broke several boards in the process, so make sure you have plenty on hand for your project. It only took me a few hours to do all the edging. Maybe 4 hours total. We are extremely happy with the edging and planters.

Poolside Patio Revamp with 200 Feet of Cor-Ten Edging
Steve installed nearly 200 feet of 6 inch 16 gauge Cor-Ten hammer-in edging around a stamped concrete patio and pool area, plus matching tapered planters. Hard clay and rocky soil made installation tough, but steady hammering and extra boards got it done in about four hours. The clean lines look great now, and the Corten planters will patina to match over time.
