Not convinced. Website was lacking information on what depth was right for our needs; I'm glad we decided to only order a single (8") kit. Our flower bed was previously live edged but had faded out over the past year. I didn't realize how deep this would have to driven to provide a stable edge. It's barely above the grass now, partly because of a minor slope to the bed on one end. We should have purchased the 14". I wish the website had offered guidance on depth. I'm counting on this heaving out of the ground this winter, which is a bummer.

Slope Exposes Need for Deeper 14 inch Edging
Jamie tested a single 8 inch straight-edge kit to separate a mulched flower bed from the lawn. On a slight slope the sections had to be driven deep for stability, leaving very little reveal and raising concerns about frost heave. Jamie wishes the website offered clearer guidance on choosing edging height and feels the 14 inch option would have been the right choice.
