Easy DIY Side Yard Refresh with Cor-Ten Edging

July 25, 2024Shared by Robert

Robert installed Edge Right Hammer-In Cor-Ten steel edging along the side of his home to define a straight, tidy mulch bed. He found it super easy to install compared to laying bricks and recommends pre-cutting the soil with a flat shovel for faster hammer-in placement. Using 8 inch, 4 foot strips with connector clips, he is excited to watch the steel develop its natural patina.

It was super easy to install and added a lot of life to the yard. I have used bricks before to create borders for gardens and that’s a lot of work to do. The best tip is to use a flat shovel or edger to create a cut in the dirt where the edge will go makes it a lot easier to install. Can’t wait to see it transform and show the patina.
