Installation at a new home build. What we liked: 1. Install was FAST. The 4' lengths make it very workable and easy to get a nice straight line. 2. The roll top is substantial; this stuff is safer for kids. 3. Formable. It is hefty, but we were able to roll it over a tire to get a nice consistent curve where needed. 4. The 2' lengths with drain holes were PERFECT in our location where the slope away from the house was significant. There will be NO problems with foundation warranty. 5. Quality product Made in USA. What we did NOT like: 1. NOTE: This was a minor irritation that did not dampen our enthusiasm for this product. More of a "maybe" room for improvement: The clips holding lengths together sometimes separate when being hammered in. If they were a little stiffer material, it may be easier to get a nice, smooth connection all the way down the length of the edging on the first try. That said, it might make it harder to open the clips up to slip down over the joining pieces. They are substantial enough that the separation did NOT deform the clip, so it was straightforward to remove and try again. Any woman that has used a flimsy bobbie pin on thick hair knows what I'm talking about. Unlike a bobbie pin, these clips do NOT get sprung and become useless. Bottom line: we will recommend this product to anyone who only wants to place edging ONCE (it will last forever) while saving themselves the cost of labor. It's easy to DIY without resorting to the flimsy plastic foreign stuff sold in the big box stores. Professional result.
The quality of the steel and the precision of manufacture are super. More flexibility in ordering would raise my level of satisfaction. I had to purchase 3 more lengths of edging than I needed. And an assortment of ‘accessory’ pieces to get a single corner post. Being able to submit an exact list of pieces for a project and receiving a parts plus shipping cost might increase sales. Paying for something you don’t need to get something you do is off- putting.
The edging works as described, easy to install and very strong. I did have to soak the ground first as we have a drought going on here and the soil is like concrete. I had to make a cutout for a landscape lighting wire which was accomplished with a grinder as suggested in the instructions. Delivery was quick, great company to work with. I have another area that I wish to edge and am thinking of doing that in the spring when the ground is not so hard. I missed the little card offering a 15% discount for before and after pictures because I was using it as edging around a patio stone area that was started before I ordered the steel so really did not have opportunity to get before pictures.

I placed my order on a Thursday at noon and had the products by noon on Saturday and that was with standard delivery! Everything was well-packaged and easy to install. We used the 14" edging to create terraced planter boxes. They are very solid and look to be holding up real well over the initial 6 weeks.
