Mower-friendly Cor-Ten edging for curves and tree rings

November 15, 2025Shared by Meggan

Meggan, a professional landscaper, used our 6 inch Cor-Ten Hammer-In Landscape Edging with start-finish pieces across multiple client projects. She pre-cuts a slot with an edger, sets the steel low so mowers glide over it and roots stay out, then screws the stakes to the edging for extra stability. The installs show crisp curved beds, neat tree rings, and a clean driveway border, and she highly recommends the product.

I have used this edging (6in) for multiple customers and have been extremely happy with the outcome. I do find it easiest to run an edger before placing the edging to avoid any rocks or other things in the way. (I place the edging low enough into ground to prevent roots from creeping into bed where they're not wanted, and for the mowers to be able to go over top(customer didn't want to do string trimming of beds and just be able to mow)) I also screw the stakes into the edging after they've been place for more stability and keep it from moving out of place. Great products, I highly recommend.
